The repertoire consists of Balkan music and also songs in thousands of year-old Jiddisch language, which is still used by the successors of Ashlenazi Jews in Europe.

The band, which continues to work and takes stage in Berlin now, is a trio with Birgit Lorenz as the vocalist and also on clarinet, flute, percussion; Matthias Hackmann as the other vocalist and also on guitar, and Ahmet Tirgil on violin.

Ahmet Tirgil joined the band after he moved to Berlin in 2017.
