The Babylon Orchestra was founded in 2016 in Berlin. The repertoire of the orchestra covers a number of different music genres such as world, experimental, contemporary, and traditional music. Other music genres could be explored on a project basis.

The orchestra is assembled by traditional and Western classical music instruments. It is a multicultural, multilingual orchestra composed of musicians who are virtuosi in their field. In addition to the important concert halls in Germany, the orchestra performs abroad presenting various projects.
Ahmet Tirgil joined the orchestra in 2018.
